SMMUN is an international Model UN Conference held at the Double Tree by Hilton New York Downtown. SMMUN offers a unique MUN experience with a focus on student engagement and realistic committee simulations, creating an interactive environment that encourages active participation and meaningful discussions.

SMMUN strives to deliver the highest educational experience in a fun and stimulating environment. Participants should expect great current topics and fierce debate sessions.

Our past editions welcomed more than 2000 participants from 7 different regions of the world, making it a true melting pot of cultures and diversity.
Soft Skills & Talent Accelerator
Public Speaking, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Time Management, Adaptability, Creativity and Leadership are just some of the skills that participants will perfect attending SMMUN: fundamental skills to tackle an ever-changing society and different work environments
Grade 5 - 12
SMMUN is tailored for School Delegations. Students are to form up a delegation and have at least 1 chaperoning faculty advisor or adult per group, this is not mandatory for schools coming from the New York City Area. SMMUN does not accept SINGLE DELEGATES. If you school does not have a Model UN club get in touch with us and we will try to help you.
